The Lollapalooza music festival takes place August 7-9, 2009 in Chicago with 130+ bands including Depeche Mode, Tool, The Killers, Jane’s Addiction, Beastie Boys and Kings of Leon. Other music festivals include The Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival is set to take place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park August 28-30 with Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band Coldplay, Tool and the Beastie Boys will headline the second annual All Points West Music & Arts Festival, to be held July 31- Aug. 2 at Liberty State Park in New Jersey, just across the Hudson River from lower Manhattan. Epicenter will launch at the Pomona Fairplex on Aug. 22 with a bill featuring Tool, Linkin Park, Alice In Chains

Grunge rock band Pearl Jam have confirmed additional Summer and Fall North American concert dates for 2009. The band will play at least two shows in Seatle, Philadelphia and play four or more shows in LA. Tickets are cheap and will be available to Pearl Jam’s Ten fan club members.

In what may be better named Stubhub’s top baseball ticket list, the Major League All-Star Workout Day/Home Run Derby tickets breaks into the tenth spot on the Stubhub Top 10 Event Ticket List. The actual All-Star Game remains at the top spot on the list with UFC 100 in second place. Other events of note, all baseball games, include the Red Sox at the Yankees and the Cardinals at the Cubs.

Britney Spears has confirmed details on a second leg of her Circus tour. Britney will hit NYC, Boston, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Britney’s first leg of the her Circus tour was the second highest grossing tour for 2009 according to Pollstar. Tickets will be on sale to the general public beginning June 19th.
