Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play at the Giants Stadium with three concerts planned for September 30th, October 2nd and October 3rd.  Giants Stadium is sheduled to be torn down after the 2009 NFL football season.  Springsteen announced news of the concerts at a concert at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey on May 21.  Tickets will to go on sale to the general public on Ticketmaster.com beginning June 1, 2009.  Springsteen plans to sell general admission tickets only for the field of the stadium for all three concerts. Let’s hope fans of the band have more luck purchasing tickets to the Giants Stadiums Springsteen concerts than they had purchasing tickets to the Izod Center shows.

Reunited punk pop rockers Blink-182 have announced details of their upcoming summer concert tour.  This concert tour will be their first since breaking-up five years ago and will feature an amazing selection of special opening acts at various venues including Fall Out Boy, Weezer, Panic At The Disco, The All-American Rejects and Taking Back Sunday.  Blink has also announced that amphitheater shows will feature lawn tickets at the low price of $20.  The tour will begin in Las Vegas in July and tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning May 30th.

Country superstar Taylor Swift performs Picture To Burn Live in St. Louis Missouri on April 25th.

Hot May event tickets are Elton John & Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Leonard Cohen, Fleetwood Mac, Il Divo, No Doubt, and Kings of Leon. Country music’s Taylor Swift, George Strait, Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney are also on tour. Stand-up comics on tour in May include the hot selling Jeff Dunham, Dane Cook, Jerry Seinfeld, Larry the Cable Guy and Cheech & Chong. U2 has released its final 2009 US concert tour dates. The tour will begin in Chicago in September and is set to end in late October in Vancouver, Canada. U2 will return to the US for additional tour dates in 2010.
