U2 has released its final 2009 US concert tour dates. The tour will begin in Chicago in September and is set to end in late October in Vancouver, Canada. U2 will return to the US for additional tour dates in 2010.

May 2009 is packed from start to finish with a full slate of exciting premiere events. Elton John & Billy Joel continue the followup to their legendary Face2Face concert tour with the sold-out Face2Face 2 concert trek across the US. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band also hit the road this month. Other hot acts touring are Leonard Cohen, Fleetwood Mac, Il Divo, No Doubt, James Taylor, Fall Out Boy with 50, Coldplay, The Dead, Nine Inch Nails & Jane’s Addiction and Kings of Leon.

Country music’s next superstar Taylor Swift tours the US in support of her record-breaking “Fearless” album and will play to sold out venues on the west coast this month coast. Other hot country tickets for May include George Strait, Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney.

As April begins, the top events at online event ticket retailer Stubhub is filled with Baseball Opening Day tickets filling 7 of the top ten entries.
